Export Products

The Export Product settings can be found in the Shopping Cart Administration Area under Products > Export.

To export products, select the fields you would like to include in your export file and click the Export button. Your product data will be saved in tab delimited format. A tab delimited file is a file with one line of data for each product. Each line is made up of fields separated by the tab character.

The following tab delimited file example contains 11 columns and product data for 4 products. The item ID column is included, which allows the file to be imported.

Column 1 - Item ID

Column 2 - Product Name

Column 3 - Product Description

Column 4 - Product Price

Column 5 - Shipping Weight

Column 6 - Inventory Amount

Column 7 - Low Inventory Warning Amount

Column 8 - Volume Discounts

Column 9 - Minimum Quantity

Column 10 - Apply Sales Tax

Column 11 - Disallow Add to Cart if Inventory 0

Product 1 does not have a minimum quantity amount, so that column is set to NULL. Volume discounts are not offered on Products 2 and 4, so that column is set to NULL. Product 3 contains values in all 11 columns.
