Digital Goods are downloadable files you can sell to your customers. The Digital Goods settings can be found in the Shopping Cart Administration Area under Products > Digital Goods.

Method 1 - Upload

To set up a file for sale, follow the steps below.

1. Click on Products > Digital Goods.
2. Click "Choose File" to upload the file.
3. If you want to limit the number of times a customer can download a file after ordering, set the limit in the Download Limitations box.
4. If you want to limit the amount of time customers have to download a file after ordering, set the Max Time Download hours and minutes.
5. Click the Save button. 
6. Click Products > View All > Add New.
7. Enter a name, description and price for the downloadable file.
8. Under Digital Good, select the file you uploaded in step 2.
9. Click the Save button.
10. You should now be on the product HTML page. Select the HTML code in the "Add to Cart button without quantity box" and copy/paste it to the product HTML file on your website.

Method 2 - Link to file

There are no additional fees to use Method 2. To set up a file for sale, follow the steps below.

1. Upload the file to your server. Your web hosting provider will offer you FTP or other tools to do this. 
   
   
2. Log in to the cart admin and click on Products > Digital Goods.
3. If you want to limit the number of times a customer can download a file after ordering, set the limit in the Download Limitations box.
4. If you want to limit the amount of time customers have to download a file after ordering, set the Max Time Download hours and minutes.
5. Click the Save button. 
6. Click Products > View All > Add New.
7. Enter a name, description and price for the downloadable file.
8. Under Digital Good, enter the File URL that points to the file you are selling.
9. Click the Save button.
10. You should now be on the product HTML page. Select the HTML code in the "Add to Cart button without quantity box" and copy/paste it to the product HTML file on your website.

FAQ

Yes. They can add as many product/files to their shopping cart as they wish. After a customer has successfully completed their order, a download link for each file will display.
