Why don't sales reports include orders before 11/01/2003?

The sales reporting feature was added to the Administration Area in December 2003. The data needed to build sales reports has only been collected since November 2003. The information you see on sales reports does not come from the same database where order data is saved, so even if you received orders before 11/01/2003, they will not appear on sales reports.


Do sales reports include telephone, fax and mail orders?

No. Sales reports are used only for tracking actual sales. The telephone, fax and mail payment options only allow your customer to print out an order form. However, if after receiving payment you mark an offline order as being "paid," the order will be added to sales reports.
